  3. Now form the menu list, select Settings.
  4. Tap on the More option under Advanced.

  6. Finally, uncheck the box next to the AMBER alerts. There are also other alerts features that you can able to disable or enable:
    • State/Local test alerts.
    • Public Safety Alerts.
    • Imminent extreme alerts.
    • Imminent severe alerts.

If you don't like the loud sound alert of AMBER and even want to receive this alert on your device, there is an alternate option for you. Scroll down to the Alerts menu and disable the Alert Sounds slider. You can set vibration alerts "on" if you want to vibrate your phone if such alerts came. There is also an option to turn off this setting for only text notifications.
